Mains stop cock leaking.

    Hi all,
    my mains stopcock is dripping, I know you switch it of to fix other problems but what do I switch off to fix or replace it, there's a pump in the basement and possibly a stopcock on the street but would that switch off everyone's elses water ? Any help appreciated

    Get a plumber Katy.

    The switch on street is for your house the plumber will have tools to lift lid and switch water they can then replace the leaking stop cock.

    Can you put photos?
    It might just be the gland nut needs a pinch
