Hi all! Before I start, I'd just like to say that even though I've been vaping years, I still get very confused with all the fancy lingo around everything, so go easy on me!
For the past couple of years I've been using I stick battery's, my current one is a 40w. However it's about the 3rd I've gone through due to various problems, so thought I might try something different for a change!
I use a nautilus tank, and the settings on my battery are 8.8w, 4.17v and 1.98ohm but to be honest, I really don't know what any of this means, if it's weak/strong etc. Just that it works for me!
So would anyone have recommendations of a battery that would work with all that? Preferably with a long life, getting about 24hrs out of the current istick!

You're bang on with your settings I'd say. No matter the coil I use, once it's in or around 4.1 - 4.3v I get a satisfying vape. Just let the watts follow to match. If it's a 0.5ohm coil you'll be at 35w, but still 4.2v or so.

You're getting amazing battery life because of that low wattage, so most decent mods should give you long life per cycle.

I can't remember if the iStick 40w has built in battery? You probably don't have separate batteries or charger then? You'll want something with inbuilt battery? How about the Wismec Releaux rx mini: https://www.ukecigstore.com/wismec-relaux-rxmini-battery-box-mod.html

    I bought 3 x RX Mini's from Cigreen because I couldn't believe how reasonable they were,€38 http://cigreen.com/en/box-mods/628-wismec-reuleaux-rxmini-80w-mod-only.html

I've used them for RTA/RDA,Nautilus & iClear 30's,they are brilliant & the resistance goes as low as 0.05 in TC & .1 in power or bypass mode, perfect in TC,I use them as spares sometimes when another mod needs their batteries charged,I just swap the atty from that mod to the RX Mini & they are not cumbersome at all when traveling outside.

Hi, I hope you don't mind me jumping in on this thread, I am in a similar position, I have been using IStick Eleaf batteries and a Mini Nautilus with 1.6ohm attys for a few years now, same tank but have been through 2 Batteries in that time, the Nautilus is now reaching the end as the air control detents don't work and it spins freely.
What would knowledgeable people recommend? I don't want to rebuild atomisers or mess around with that kind of thing as I have enough hobbies as it is:D
I vape <5ml per day MTL 6mg Halcyon Haze Northern lights as the dark juices seem to bugger the atomiser very quickly.
The Wismec RX Mini's aren't in stock in the links above maybe they are selling out before the new regs come in?

Ideally a small reliable setup that doesn't leak, lasts a day or two and won't smash the bank account?
I don't mind going to 18650 batteries if needed.

The RX Mini's are available here now http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/vv-mods/841-80w-wismec-reuleaux-rxmini-tc-mod-kit.html

Just gotta figure a MTL tank for you,the new Nautilus 2 is exactly the same as the Nautilus Mini, uses the same coils, they just changed the design & now a top fill,I'll get back to you If I find them in stock in Ireland...

    Here's an excellent set-up http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/vv-mods/685-eleaf-istick-pico-75w-kit.html
The Melo III can do DL & MTL if you adjust the airflow down to half a hole,I've tried it,works great & no leaks yet...
The Pico will need an 18650 battery but you can charge it safely with the supplied usb cable.

I can't find the Nautilus 2 in Ireland yet, they will be here soon as it is a new design.
    I have found a Nautilus X http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/clearomizers/703-aspire-nautilus-x.html
I have never tried one but some have said the 1.5 coils are not great but I have tried the new 0.6 SS coil & they are fantastic & they fit the Nautilus X... http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/clearomizers/702-aspire-nautilus-x-u-tech-coil-head.html
Maybe others will chime in & tell you if the Nautilus X is any good...
