PAYE Anytime Employment Details Missing

Has anybody any experience of this ?

I logged on tonight to request a P21 statement as I do every year, only to find no employment details for me, just my husband. None for this year 2017 and nothing for last year 2016. All previous years and details are as they were.

The last time I logged in, around September 2016, all of my details were showing. Now it's all gone.

I have had no change in employment. Any ideas as to what has happened ?

Youll have to ring Revenue. If it's not showing up, the employment must have become ceased off on their system. Best course of action is to ring and find out

Thanks for replying. Yes I did ring them today. I am re-instated, though no satisfactory explanation was given as to why or what happened. I was ceased off their system on 25th December 2015. They don't know why.

The odd thing is I was alive and well when I logged on in 2016, suddenly in February 2017 all of 2016 had been wiped.

I think their new system has gremlins, I am glad I checked.

25th December is a dummy date.

Basically, the employment wasn't set up correctly. The onus is on you to advise Revenue of a new employment. So, when your employer filed their end of year P35 return, it ceased it off on 25th of December. It's a stupid system, and happens thousands of jobs every year.

It's not new employment, I've worked there 15 years, that's what threw me, I've never had a problem before. Alls well that ends well as they say.

Would they have changed payrolls or anything like that mid year? Maybe check your P60s, see is there a different employer number from previous years

No, nothing has changed. Revenue were at a loss to explain it to be honest. The best they could say was "somebody pushed a wrong button".

For some reason when the button was pushed it not only affected 2017 but deleted all of 2016. I check my credits in Jan / Feb every year. In Jan 2016 all details were there and were also present in October 2016 when i logged in. Somehow between October 2016 and Feb 2017 i got sent back to December 2015 and recorded as ceased.

So i can understand an error for this year, but cant understand how a year previously correctly recorded just disappeared.
