Medical expenses

Hi folks, apologies if this has been asked elsewhere but I cannot find it.

Just a quick one, is it possible to claim medical expenses on items not or partially covered by your health insurance?

For example, a GP visit costs €60, VHI cover €40 of it and you pay €20 yourself. Can you claim relief on that €20?

    Thanks

Yes, that's it. Just ensure you have backup for the claim in case you are ever asked for it.
