So I bought a UK import fiesta and the dealer cleared it and everything and gave me a bunch of paperwork and stuff that came with it service history etc

Now my question is how do I tax it do I just need the new Irish reg or a form or what?

Assuming the car is up on the motor tax system (normally takes a few days after the car is put on Irish plates), you should be able to tax it online by using the last 6 digits of the car's VIN as the PIN. Alternatively you can request a new PIN via the motor tax website.

The first Irish vehicle registration cert (logbook) will not be issued to you until you first tax the car. Dealer really should have explained all this to you.

Yes, it usually arrives a few days after the motor tax disc. You can track it online too.
