I was in the records office last year and noticed an old couple getting help from a private researcher. Any idea how these people are advertising their services and how much they're charging? I know in the National Library of Ireland they offer free assistance.

The NLI and the NAI offer free *pointers* but don't do the research themselves.

There's a list of researchers on the library's website:

Any idea what kind of money they charge? The National Archives in London are charging 27 pounds per 15 minutes.
