    Hi all,

I'm sure this type of post has been done plenty of times before, if so, apologies.

Looking to trade up on my current car, a 2010 1.8 Ford Mondeo. I have a wife, 2 kids and a dog. My budget is roughly €20k.

As a man who wouldn't be the most knowledgeable when it comes to motors, I'm looking for any opinions or suggestions on the car you would recommend?

New or Used for that money OP?

I'll put my hand up and say I'm an estate car buff, small SUVs are ubiqitous and a bit homogenous, if i was spending your money Id look for a top condition Skoda Superb or Octavia estate from '13 or '14, maybe a nice UK model with a high spec

Used car is fine by me. Anything from '13 onwards I'd consider

Another vote for the Skoda superb combi, it would be ideal for you.
