Aerial Direction

Just put an aerial for Saorview & NI Freeview on my chimney. I live in North County Dublin and pick up my Saorview from Clermont Carn and therefore can pick up the spill over from Kilkeel.
I have the aerial pointing at Clermont Carn which is 350 degrees north. I have no issues picking up the Saorview stations but the NI stations have poor quality.

Kilkeel mast is at 10 degrees north from my house. Should I point my aerial in this direction in order to pick up the freeview stations and hope that due to the Saorview strength I will also pick this up here or leave it as is and add a masthead amplifier in order to help assist with receiving the NI stations.

    Thanks

I think I'd be favouring Kilkeel, as CC has something like 400 times the power ...

Yeah, I suppose you could try a masthead amplifier on it.

If it's only feeding a single TV, maybe something with about 16dB gain or, a variable gain type.
