    Hi,

I'll try be as concise as possible. Started about a week ago, oil burner wouldn't come on. Had to click reset button on top and it kicked in.
A few days later with burner back on I noticed water coming out through overflow pipe in CH header tank. Went up and felt hot water coming up into header tank.

Got boiler serviced and engineer said it was working fine but that CH pump was very hot and most likely our problem. Plumber came and swapped out pump , although alot of air in system, it worked for a few days. However, I noticed that hot water in cylinder was looking temp very quickly - maybe 10 degree in less that an hour. Also, I tied up ballcock in CH header tank and its losing a full tankload in 1 hour. So i guess I have a leak in my CH system somewhere.

I've only swapped out cylinder 2 years so that should be ok. I'm worried as to where the leak could be. Now the boiler wont turn on, even after resetting and messing around with it. Pump seems to be operating fine.

Looks like I've a leak downstairs somewhere as the water would be pissing down through ceiling otherwise.
Can anybody recommend a leak detection specialist around the South-East - Carlow direction?

Contact Heatmerchants or PJ. Nolan's for advice on someone who might do that.
