Meaning of "To be demolished in Future Application"

    Hi all,

I am interested in buying a property.

There is an existing dwelling on the property which is currently not registered habitable (as per landlord). From the outside it looks OK like, but when I was in the building I understood why it is not habitable at the moment. I don't wanna get into detail, it was just iiiarg, messy, rats,...

There was planning granted in 2014 for 10 stables. The location of the stable block is far away from the dwelling.

On the map of the planning application the dwelling is marked "To be demolished in Future Application".

It is only mentioned on the map, the whole planning permission documents for the stables do not mention the demolition of the house, so I assume it is not any requirement in order to build the new stable block.

Does that mean that is has to be demolished and cannot be completely refurbished?

There would be a lot to be done, you basically need to rib everything out to the bone and completely restart, but I don't see why the old structure couldn't be kept (no cracks, etc.).
