Have an old Cooper pegler here, only fault I'd have is the straps are a bit narrow and can dig into the shoulders. Good sprayer otherwise but might upgrade myself.
Is there much of a price difference between the two?

Just seen on agri direct they're both more expensive than I thought. Think I'll just upgrade the straps on our own

I have a cooper pegler 15ltr that I never had any issues with. Last year when I went to use it the hose to the lance was cracked. I borrowed my brothers Solo 15ltr and tbh I will buy one. It is much more comfortable and sits better than the cooper pegler. My brother paid about €175 for his one and it has a double nozzle.

I know it slightly off topic, but i changed to a 1
95L quad sprayer and it is a great job.. i can put it on the quad, in the back of the jeep or on the mf35.. great job holds so much more and also has a broadcast lad on the back.. folks even use it around the garden..
Lifting them onto your back is a killer and filing every 20min then after...

i have the berthoud one and you'd wear it all day long it's so comfortable...Very happy with it and as a result a lot more spot spraying done:)

    no experience of the CP3

In my opinion I have an older CP3 Cooper Pegler, a CP 15 new Cooper Pegler and a Berthoud sprayer pro comfort. I’m not sure is a pro 2000 or 1600 it can take up to 16 litres. The Berthoud is way more comfortable than the Cooper Pegler’s even than The newer CP15. The Berthoud Has an arched indented to fit into your back and also a waist strap plus a mobile phone pocket (too small for iPhone) However, Copper pegler now offer that setup with a waist strap but the Berthoud would be more comfy. I think tbh cp’s are very uncomfortable even a domestic inter or matabi sprayers are far more comfortable. You can get a hood with it I have a cone shaped and a rectangular hood for my Cooper Pegler cp 15. Birchmayer (excuse spelling) are meant to be comfortable also. also there is a previous comment of a Cooper evolution which has the new harness which I was on about. Regard to nozzles you can get a double nozzle handy for a cp and a Berthoud lot of good wesbsites. I bought my Berthoud from Agritech - got screwed in price. Ray Graham’s was selling them for 175 ish or maybe less. Always shop around. But Cooper Pegler are not comfortable.
