Anyone have any idea how to wire this Antiference Wall Plate Diplexer? It has an input (including place for core wire) for what must be the cable that connected to the diplexer at the satellite/aerial end.

It has an output (no place for core wire) for a reason completely unknown to me.

It also has a screw next to an "earth" sign but it seems very far from where the core wire enters the device. I would have thought the earth wire wraps around the area where the input/output clamp is?

Single wire input only, remove the clamp plate (with the arrows), strip back the insulation and braid around the core wire to the depth of the core input, wrap the braid around the cable insulation under that clamp ensuring the braid and core wire are not in contact. Screw down the clamp.

The video here will give you an idea of how to do it even though it's a slightly different product - http://www.freetv.ie/diplexer-wall-plate/, approx. 1:12 in.
