Ending Ancestry membership

So I have been paying for the full worldwide sub to Ancestry (All Access I think it is called).
I pay monthly and membership is up at the end of February.
I have done a decent bit of research and have a tree going back to mid 1800s on both parents side of myself and my wife.
However not getting the use out of it at the moment so will be cancelled this month to save a few quid.

I would like to know what happens all the details when I cancel.
Can I move the data in to a free version or somewhere else that's free?
I would also like to print out the tree to show to relations as not all of them are PC literate!

Any recommendations on what I should do?

You can still access and amend your tree without a subscription.
Before your sub ends, you should download all your data. Go to "manage your tree" and click export your data. This will download a gedcom that you can import into other software.

Any recommendations for a printable family tree type software?

They all print, it just comes down to your printer. Most people don't have bigger than A4 sized printers. I just sellotape pages together.

Save your tree (export as gedcom) and install software that can read the file and display your tree.
You can manage your tree on your PC with software like
    https://gramps-project.org/download/

Gramps is free and open software, but takes a little time to learn how to use it properly and fully.
IMO it is worth the effort.
