House sales queries

Is it possible to buy a site with full planning permission, build a house on it keeping within the planning spec and then sell the house as soon as it's built without having to wait 10 years. For example James gets FPP on a site and then decides to sell it to John. John then builds the house and then sells the house on as soon as the build is finished.

    Thanks

It depends on the planning conditions and if it has a resendency clause. Usually they do in rural law cations for 7 years or so and James cannot sell to John unless John also satisfies the local needs criteria within the resendency time frame.
