System Mechanic has botched my browsers.

I got System Mechanic in the Humble Bundle the other day and ever since I ran it my browser experience is torturous. 30 seconds to load pages. I've uninstalled it but still the same, any ideas of what I can do?

Can you do a system restore point from before you installed System Mechanic?

Failing that, try "resetting" your browsers.

Tried a system restore, but of course it failed.

Also re installed chrome fresh, and it's awful now.

That's the last straw, been on to the developers, but no responce.

They dont seem to have a removal tool, and a simple uninstall leaves loads of residual stuff behind...
