Hey everyone. I'm a business graduate - really lucky and got a job in the sector but im just not interested in it. I really want to go down a social kind of route and was looking at a Higher Diploma in Applied Social Care in IT Carlow wexford campus. My only concern is I dont know how qualified I would be after it ? Would I be qualified enough to work in the social care sector? has anyone done this course or know from experience ? Thanks

Hi everyone..looking for some information about this course also. I'm a business graduate with an honours degree in management.
I'd like to become a social worker. Would I be qualified as a social worker after completing this course or would further study be required?

If the prospectus for a course at an Irish college does not say that it is a qualification recognised by CORU for professionally qualified social worker then it does not qualify you as a social worker.
