Hi, I'm seriously considering doing a part-time course at the institute of Blanchardstown in mechatronics(higher certificate)..does anyone have any info or experience on this course(beyond whats listed online) and jobs prospects after it? I'm seriously considering doing a part-time course at the institute of Blanchardstown in mechatronics(higher certificate)..does anyone have any info or experience on this course(beyond whats listed online) and jobs prospects after it?

I trained in a very similar course about 15 years ago.

It looks like a fairly decent course and should give you a fairly broad engineering education.

I went on and did the diploma and did the degree a few years later.

For job prospects, I have rarely been out of work, pay is decent depending on the job though and have done a fair bit of travelling too.
