    Hi all,
Random one. Whilst spring cleaning I found a bottle of this, still in (slightly damaged) box. I am no expert but it appears from a quick Google it might be worth quite a bit.

Is it? And if it is what would be the best way to sell it for a good price? I love whiskey but couldn't justify holding onto it if getting something north of a few hundred euro is realistic.

    Thanks!

I have tasted this albeit quite some time ago and like it a lot. It's heavily pot stilled so very different to the current Jameson offerings.

It is valuable, in the hundreds of euro range certainly but I can't give a figure. Contact the Celtic Whiskey Shop and they'll give you a price for it, obviously a wholesale price and they'll sell it on at a markup.

You could go to the Irish Whiskey Society's forum forum.irishwhiskeysociety.com and post a question in the collectors section, you'll quickly get a retail price there ....

Price varies a lot, but they go for anywhere between 330 euro and 650 euro at auction.

... by the way, some of the same whiskey is in the Redbreast 21, the first edition at least...

Dearest whiskey in my local is €27.50 for a small one. Yiz are all feckin' mad, Ted! :)
