I have a batch of weanlings that were housed on the first week of November. Bulls weighed around 400kg heifers around 350kg i fed them 1kg of nuts per day per head and 75dmd silage. I hoping to get to grass around paddies day or april 1st. They have done well since they went in. Should i stop the nuts now or not. Teagasc say say stop nuts 6-8 weeks before turn out. Whats your thoughts. I know i should weigh them.
