Head up the coast and stop wherever catches your fancy would be a great way to spend a day.
In regards to an "Old World Pub", not sure what you mean by that but if you start down the bottom of Parnell St. you'll find a craft beer bar (name escapes me), then Lucas' which is a nice bar, then up the street you'll come across more bars, just keeps your eyes and ears open and you'll find a bar for you, we've no shortage of bars

By the time you reach the other end you won't care what kind of bar it is 0
