    Hi. Just starting new part time job after few years off with kiddies. Form says I need my tax credit cert. I don't have it and think it'll take a couple weeks to get it. Will it hold up decision /payment? Also does anyone know how long it'll be before it comes through. Thanks

    Send of the FIS form now anyway,explain the tax credit cert will follow, as soon as they received the claim form the payment will be back dated to that date,
    my took about 4 weeks last time,but my paperwork was all in order.

    If you contact Revenue they should notifiy your employer within a day or two of you tax credits/bands. It should issue to you within a day or two as well. Can't imagine why it would take weeks.

    Thanks , got the couple of weeks timeframe from a friend. They must have been mistaken, or I took them up wrong. All the better.
