Broken Vax VRS29M Steam Cleaner

    Hi, im hoping someone can help me.
    My Vax PowerMax 10-1 Steam Cleaner fell over and broke over the Christmas and i cannot source the spare parts i need to repair it.

    Does anyone have a broken Vax PowerMax Steam Cleaner model number VRS29M i could have to repair my own Vax machine.

    I have contacted Vax but unfortunately they dont delivery spare parts to Ireland.

    I cant seem to upload photos but the two parts that are broken are the floor head (where it connects onto the machine and the end of the actual machine that connects into the floor head and the other accessories.
    I can email photos of the two parts i need if it helps.

    try Expertise in Tullamore they are on the net, failing that register with An Post for a free uk mailing address, it only costs three euro 50c to send a parcel from there to your local post office

    Hi, thanks for that i'll try Expertise. What do you mean a free U.K Mailing address? how could i do that if i dont live in the U.K, it sounds like a brilliant idea as you must know a lot of companies wont deliver to Ireland. Ive never heard about a free U.K mailing address before!

    OK ive just checked out this free Uk mailing address, it seems fantastic! have you used it yourself and if so did you have any problems?

    Hi, I have used it quite a few times since it became available without any issues, had one of the family that wanted a tailor made set of carpets for the car but the mailing costs from the factory was £35 stg, whereas they had free post within UK got them sent to the An Post depot over there and 3euro 50c on pick up from the local po a few days later

    Thank you so much for that, i do a lot of shopping online and it bugs me when either people wont post to Ireland or the rates are so expensive you cant afford to buy from them. You have just made my year and ive already signed up for the U.K postal address so thank you again so much :)
