Foreign insurance in Ireland

    Hello I can get foreign insurance in Ireland on an Irish car they said I would be insured for full year but they only put the vin number on the policy not the number plate how would the Gardi react to this?

    Can they provide you with an insurance disk? If not, you will be exposed to penalties irrespective of whether you have insurance.
