    Ships used to collide before, now they crash.:confused: Reminds me of a RTE news report about a tanker that ran aground by New Ross, the ship was "dislodged" the following tide. I kid you not.

    Well to my mind that's more of a crash than a collision. Two cars collide. Two planes collide. Two ships collide. One car crashes. One plane crashes. One ship (in this instance) crashes

    Thats the second collision in recent times. Their 'Mananna Fast Ferry' catamaran struck the pier last easter when I was there. I posted a thread about it I think

    Sounds like the same RTE or TV3 who thought that being berthed alongside and made fast to a quay wall meant that you were at anchor - (Talls Ships a few years ago).
