Dulux Signature versus Colourtrend

Has anyone here any experience of using the Dulux Signature range?

I know that Colourtrend is rated a better paint in general than Dulux. How does the Dulux Signature range measure up when compared to Colourtrend?

I'm looking at repainting our house and I'm considering keeping a consistent colour scheme throughout the house. The Dulux Signature range offers colour combinations and it would mean I could paint the sitting room Pure Cinder, the kitchen Mid Cinder and the hallway Subtle Cinder and achieve different tones of the same colour throughout the house.

For anyone experienced in using these paints, would I get a better overall finish by putting in more effort to find a similar Colourtrend combination and use Colourtrend instead?

The Dulux Diamond range is very good paint. It's dearer than the regular Dulux but cheaper than Colourtrend. I actually find it better than Colourtrend.

Have you considered Dulux Trade paint?

I spoke to a few painters, and they say to avoid the basic Dulux you see in Woodies, Homebase etc. They say its rubbish. They told me to pay the extra and get the trade versions, much better paint.

To be honest, I have no experience of their Signature range. Perhaps its like the trade stuff?
