32inch LG smart TV freesat & saorview fav channel setup

Hi. Newbie here. I have a 32 inch LG smart TV. It's really awkward to change channels easily. I have 2 issues with it. First, whenever I switch on the TV, it is always on the full sat list and I need to go in each time to change to fav. Is there anyway to setup the fav channel list and have it as the default when I turn on the TV.
Second, is there anyway to get both my fav freesat and saorview channels on the same list. Otherwise I need to go to list each time and change tuners.
Any help would be really appreciated.

I don't think you can set the fav as default, same on humax sky boxes, you get into main menu first. I read here that changing sat to tv needed as many as seven buttons, put me of buying an Lg.

This is the only TV that i have come across that has both sets of channels Irish and UK on the same list. http://www.walker.ie/product/detailedView/90

There is a way to add channels to your Smart Home Hub

    What model is your TV?

I've used https://github.com/PredatH0r/ChanSort to modify my channel list (LG 42LN575) in the order I want but i still have to switch between Aerial/Satellite Tuners.

You export your current channel lists and change them with ChanSort, then import back to the TV. Not sure if this supports your model.

You can also have it sort the Satellite channels in the same order as Freesat if you want or you can manually change the order

Hi bought an lg49uj635v and love it. Any solution to switching between saorview and freesat.. Combining channel list would ideal rather that 6-7 button presses to switch between tuners. Any help would be appreciated

A quicker way is "guide -> red button -> input wanted (saorview or satellite). Dont think its possible to combine them on one EPG.

Can I just ask if you are using free to air satellite, or FreeSat satellite? The difference is that with freesat you have 7 day epg listing all upcoming programmes, series link, and cant reorder the channels. Free to air only has now and next. I ask because my freesat doesnt work properly, but free to air works fine

If it is Freesat compatible it will only work if the country is set to UK.

Indeed. It depends on entering a UK postalcode to give you the regional settings. And when you do that your Saorview Channels will be in the 800s, but you can renumber them.

Thanks yes, have it on UK alright. Seems to be an LG issue with the EPG generally though based on other reports here, and some on avforums in the uk too.

Sorry it was free to air for me. Amazing that lg haven't included merging channel lists in software updates. Is there a channel list available to sort order of channels. I've never used the programme mentioned in an earlier post.
