Top quality silent fill ball cock?

    What's the best brand silent fill ballcock, recently replaced an ordinary balkcock because of the noise when filling, the one I got is a disaster, it sticks and has flooded the toilet a couple of times in the last couple of weeks, just want the best I can get. Paid about €28 for this one.

    Best on the market is Fluidmaster. But some cisterns are a bit tricky to fit them into.

    Yes, but get the brass ended one, more reliable for connecting to the water pipe.
    Depending on the cistern, it might be a tight fit, but you can angle the body on the valve a little to allow the float to move freely.
