Anyone have a problem with trying to use humax after watching something on chromecast
Humax will not respond to remote at all unless it is switched on and off.
Taking Chromecast power supply from the USB on TV if this might be an issue?

What Humax device are you using?

I don't think it's a Humax problem, I think it's something to do with the way HDMI works. I've experienced the same things with various devices connected. The trick is to cycle through the sources and back around to the device you want. No need to power it off.

    It's a Humax Foxsat HDR.
But the thing I cannot change channels on the human either.
    It's like everything freezes

I had a similar problem with a humax box this week, the display just kept showing updating data and the box was unresponsive. Didn't stop the Chromecast working. A quick reboot fixed it.

Can't even switch off Humax with remote.
Have to switch it off at the back to reboot.
Are any of you using TV USB as power supply ?
Or just using power supply that came with Chromecast?

Everything is running through a Marantz receiver. I have a Mac mini that I use as a htpc and I use the USB on that to power the Chromecast.
