App to turn off mobile data for certain apps?

I'm looking for a way to turn off mobile data, but only for certain apps. There are a couple of apps that I still want to have access to mobile data, but in the settings there's only an option to restrict background refresh. Anyone used an app that can do this? I'm on android 6.

If your rooted and have xposed installed http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.defim.apk.lightningwall

Basically both are firewalls.

On my Android under Data usage I can select app data usage and disable mobile data per app.

Thanks. Under data usage I only have the option to "Disable background data", but that's not going to stop the app from using data if I press it and open it (if I forget that I'm not on wifi).

Try inside the app itself. Some have options for that internally like you tube.
