    Hi Folks,
    Help appreciated on this please!

I am doing an academic project via distance learning and therefore have little to no forum to ask questions.

I will be referencing tax acts heavily in this assignment but I don't know how to do so in accordance with the Harvard System.

For example - Section 26 (2) VAT Consolidation Act 2010

How would I reference this? Would I just write the above in the main body of the assignment or do something like S26 VATCA2010 and then reference the full name in the bibliography?

    Help please!

worth checking with your institution, but for my own course laws/statutes don't conform with the Harvard system

Have you tried using "Cite it Right"?

It has all referencing systems. You enter specific details and it formulates the citation for you in whatever referencing system you like. I know it has the Harvard one as I have used it before. Extremely easy to use, not sure if it's free though.

I use Mendeley as my reference manager.

Has Harvard and many other styles built in.

    Also it's free!
