Does Leitrim exist?

I have heard of this magical land many times but I have never experienced it. Can someone please tell me how do I get to this secret place on earth where miracles happen? Does it even exist? Or is it just fairytales told to children to help them sleep?

The people of Roscommon are adamant that the blame lies entirely with south Leitrim for that result, and furthermore, also insist that it doesn't exist,and want reparations from Carrick -on-Shannon (which doesn't exist) for stealing money out of the county by virtue of the fact it is more lively and interesting than any part of Roscommon (which actually does exist).

I heard that it's just open water between the counties of Sligo and Fermanagh. It's only been in existence since the beginning of the 20th century and came into being after some secretive dealings between the British crown and DeValera.
