The Piñata. Would you have wanted one at your birthday?

In parts of the USA and Mexico, a popular birthday activity for children is the pinata - hitting a paper donkey or or other figure hanging from a tree with sticks until it bursts open and sweets and small toys fall out.

It started as a Latino tradition but has now crossed into the American mainstream. It sounds cool. They've had piñatas of Trump.:D

Would you have wanted a pinata at your childhood birthday? Or an adult version with mini bottles of booze and chocs and other "goodies" inside?

No. and I see they are very much for sale in Irish party shops. No need for it, we play pin the tail on the Donkey and eat loads of sweets anyway. Next we'll be celebrating La Quinceanera!
