No, it's not a Waterford Whispers article. The Diamond Cinema in Navan has said of the raunchy 50 Shades Darker "It's on an 18 cert and I must stress that single men or married men on their own, any unaccompanied males will not be allowed in."

Paul Egan who records the phone listings for the Diamond Cinema said: "Well, it's meant to be a titillating film so I thought it might be better to keep the single men outside until we suss it out.

PC gone mad yada yada yada. It's seriously a mad stance to take, like something from Father Ted. Oh and it's made the news in the UK too, nice and cringey.

They should ban everyone from seeing it. It's a film for morons, keep paying good money to see these type of shyte films and the studios will keep shìtting them out.

Heard on the radio today that the first film had a budget of 40 million and made 500 million at the box office. Who said women didn't like porn!

    Sounds like a publicity stunt.

Or did this thread fall into here from 1961?

Honestly, why anyone would want to see this sh*te is beyond me. Is it because Jamie Dornan is in it? I'd say the majority of viewers will be ladies between 40 and 65.

Books for sex mad unsatisfied and curious women converted to films for sex mad unsatisfied and curious women - I think. As for Navan - Meh. Lots of sex mad unsatisfied and curious women up there anyway. They all moved there from Dublin during the celtic tiger - I think.:D

I haven't been this upset since I was banned from Sex and the City 2.

Sure the cinema is like a throwback from times gone by for the wrong reasons, so this doesn't surprise me.

Maybe if they spent less time on this (and blocking a new modern cinema outside the town)and upgraded their cinema, less people would go elsewhere (Ashbourne mostly)

    Marketing spiel. That's all.
They'll come out saying "anyone can see it now" :)

Funny when you think about it, cause some ejjits out there will feel "I should be able to see this as a single man!" and when they see it there they'll think "it's a win for equality" :pac:

No mate. You just got worked.

The wife wanted me to see this with her next week, but we compromised and we're going to see Lego Batman instead.

Things like the above remind me I landed one of the good ones.

That thing is haunting but ****ing brilliant.
My slime hole was trembling like Micheal J. Fox licking a car battery. The pounding of my poo pipe was so vigorous, he soon found his chin pounders joining his veiny quim prod deep in my black hole. The feeling of his man fat foaming down my throat got my minge mucus flowing quicker than a greased weasel ****. The unrelenting orgasms from his blind butler pounding my wunder down under made me come so hard, I began sweating like Mike Tyson at a spelling bee. With his clunger ****ing deep into my shamevelope, the sensation of his one-eyed monster smashing my cervix made me quiver like a ****ting dog.

Was leaving another film in Cineworld last night around 10pm or so and seen security escorting five or six women from a screening of this. As they were doinso you could clearing hear other girls shouting at them as they were being led out. Wasnt remotely surprised as on my way in, around 7, you could see that many of them queueing were either locked or about to get locked given that you could clinking of the bottles they were being not very discreet about smuggling in.

Same kind of crowd I remember seeing descend on cinemas for that last Sex & The City flick.

    I love porn.

I would, however, rather put my own eyes out with barbeque skewers dipped in ghost chilli oil than watch a 50 Shades film.

Indeed.... what's the the difference between flirting and sexual harassment?

    Good looks.

On a side-note.... Did that cinema just assume my gender?? *faux outrage*

K, the cinema in question has now deleted every post on their facebook page, Not just the ones pointing out that sexual discrimination is illegal, every post.
