    Why is Norin O'Sullivan not resigning?

    What an evil b!tch...She tried to destroy a man's life with falsehoods. Why is there not more public uproar about this?

    If this was in the UK, she would have to resign immediately.

    Same reason politicians don't resign when their caught with their snouts in the trough. Remember the public gallery laughing at Bertie when he was telling the ultimate porkies? He sat ther content and didn't care, this is Ireland, sure it'll be grand.

    Same thing occured to me with Arlene Foster in the North over the RHI scheme. She would always claim to be British as opposed to Irish, yet her refusal to step aside is about the most Irish thing anyone in public life could ever do!

    I could be wrong but I think you need evidence before someone is strung up.

    This all rests or falls on the difference between putting their hand up and saying they don't want to know what is going on or active involvement, the difference between commission and omission.

    Nobody could reach the sort of position she has without being intensely political the sort of person who never gossips but know all, is friendly to everyone they work with but not friends with anyone.
