    Hi All

We are looking to remove our existing gas boiler and replace it with a combi boiler.

It was suggested to us as re are doing an extension and would free up space not needing a hot press or tank in the attic.

I am just wondering if a combi boiler can be placed outside or do they need to be inside the house?

    Thanks

They can be fitted outside in a waterproof housing of some description but it's always better where practical to place them where you have easy access for when/if you have to interact with it.

I'd keep as close as possible to where there's the most demand for hot water.

Keep it away from food storage area

They are very quiet these days but if possible don't put
It directly below a sleeping area ....
