Hi ashlingd2004,

Thanks for getting in touch.

It is possible to change from a Pay As You Go (PAYG) meter to a standard meter. However, the process and timeframe for this to be completed can vary depending on the meter.

Could you advise if you are referring to a PAYG electricity meter, or a gas PAYG meter?

We can then look into providing you with further information.
