    Hi all,

Just wondering has anyone has laser teeth whitening? Would they recommend or was there any issues after? Also thinking of getting it done in <snip>. Has anyone been?

One off in office whitening ("laser Whitening" ) has been show to be the least effective way to whiten teeth. It shows higher rebound and significantly higher sensitivity.

The next best is at home whitening in customized whitening trays worn at night. Much better results and more stable over time.

The best is combination treatments where the two of the above are done, usually the at home first.

Better seek at home whitening, its better value as it works better and lasts a lot longer.

Just wondering if anyone would have a price estimate for the customised whitening trays? And also whether they should be got at the dentist or online?

Had a look online and the prices (and advice) varies.

always from dentist - you have comeback and you should know what you are getting
prices vary according to clinic / quality of trays

Depends on quality of trays - the most important part of the whitening process - anything from €200+ depending on who is doing it - some good systems are Enlighten or KoR whitening - expect to pay €500 - €1000 depending on who is doing it / time taken to get result.

Much obliged, might give it a go. Already wasted €100 on the subject matter of this thread
