Im travelling on American from DUB-PHL and then PHL-LAS on Saturday, flight No. AA723. Im wondering has anyone done the trip recently and can tell me what they are like to fly with? From looking it seems that its a 757-200 Narrow body, with no IFE except the drop down screens :(

Heard from a lot that American are terrible to fly with, is that true? First time flying transatlantic with anyone other then Aer Lingus.

Did you not research this type of flight before buying the ticket or what?

Sorry for being so blunt. But them's the rules!

It's not a long flight really to philly, and you just get on with it.

When you get to Vegas you will forget everything on the plane!

I did AA to Phillly. Nobody had a personal tv. There were TVs for every 5 or so rows. Our tv wasn't working.

Things may have changed more recently, I did this a while ago

Just keep thinking of Vegas and you'll be grand

Just to be clear, I would sit on a bed of nails, no tv, no company if I knew Vegas was my destination.

I did the route and pretty sure it was with AA too bit we has personal tv's to use. Food was fine and the beers were unlimited.

Just buy a cheap Amazon fire tablet and download dozens of movies/tv shows and sell it for a tenner loss when you're home.
