I know it would make sense, but that is not always the case when money is involved !
my solicitors says she would sort out a meeting with the barrister.
I am not to sure what the barrister will ask me or what happens at these first meetings?i seen on other treads the barrister asking how much you expect (i would be hoping he would be able to "tell me" in what region of compensation i would expect to get).
All these barristers are sure to meet in one court or another every months, would they talk about these cases and sort things out  themselfs?
Thanks for any answers or advice given .....:)

Try and write this again so that it makes sense, I've no real idea what you're trying to say.

Typically, as its your barrister, they want to get an idea of how you would cope if it went to trial. They'll talk to you a particular way and see what happens if you are out on the spot.

A barrister will ask what you expect to get money-wise in order to gauge and perhaps manage your expectations. S/he will highlight the strengths and weaknesses in your case and advise you accordingly.

It is improper conduct for barristers to talk to one another without first being instructed to do so by their client. Barristers must put any settlement offer made to their client. It is the client who dictates the terms of settlement as it is their case, not the barrister's.
