No hot water

    Hello all Im only getting a trickle from my hot water taps even thou I can feel d hot water in the branch pipe from the tank, I recently had the mains stop cock switched off while I was away, could this have something to do with it ?
    p.s. I live in a single level apartment.

    Presuming that you have turned the stop cock back on again and the tank is full of water, are only the hot taps affected, or are the cold water taps in the bathroom affected as well.

    the cold tap in bathroom is not affected, cold tap in kitcken is ok its straught from the mains, its strange

    Apartment... I am assuming you have a pump from tank. You more than likely introduced an air lock in the pump or closed one of the ball valves by turning off the water. I suggest avoid doing that in future.

    I had a similar issue before . A light rap on the ball sensor on the pipe from the pump dropped the ball for me.

    This is assuming you have a pump. A picture of your water cylinder and surrounding pipe work may help

    There's a main pump in the basement for the whole block and the shower needs a small pump but the rest is usually reliant on" head" pressure from tank, I must send you a pic.
