    Hi there,

I'm currently trying to re-home a dog. Buster has been doing agility with his foster carer and loves it. I've posted him on adverts and somebody mentioned that there is a charity that specializes in re-homing agility dogs. I'm just wondering if anybody knows of them and what there called?

    Thanks,
    J

To be honest id take him off adverts.ie and donedeal - many dogs on here end up in the wrong hands... have you contacted some rescue centres? where are you based and ill pm you some places.

    Hi cocker5,

I've just removed my post from adverts as you advised, I hadn't put him on DD.

We are based in Dublin. We have contacted a few charities but the only one that got back to us were <snip>

Would appreciate any places that you could suggest.

I've just put up a post on the rehoming thread here on API.

    Thanks again.

    Hi,
I do agility with my dogs and would be very involved with the agility community in Ireland, there is no charity that deals with agility dogs, the sport wouldn't be big enough in Ireland for that.

I would suggest finding some of the clubs on facebook and posting the dog there
If in Dublin the clubs would be
    WTCI
    Dublin Dog Training
    Working Canine Assoc of Ireland
    Doggy Allsorts
I would also get the foster to advertise him with the club they train with.
