Hi all, I've recently just bought a new home, a story an Half of 2,800sq feet, well it's a shell at the min, has only been first fixed and left at that! I plan on putting in one electric shower! Anyway The plan at the min is to install a 35kw condensing oil boiler for main source of heating, plus a Stanley Reginald 20kw stove! I wanted to add a joule 300l triple coil hot water tank with leaving a coil spare for the future solar panels! My plumber has said joule tanks aren't great an has recommended a kingspan Albion compact as tank, but the tank only has a ber rating of D and I'm worried that it's not efficient enough for our needs! has anyone got a set up like this or any better recommendations? Not going for geothermal or air to water route as too expensive!
