Another Lego movie on the way, this time around the Ninjago brand.

Stars Jackie Chan, Olivia Munn, Dave Franco, Justin Theroux and Michael Pena.

    Out in September.

Really looking forward to this after seeing the trailer. Hopefully the resulting kits will look as good as the one's in the trailer / film.

Not feeling this at all. Doesn't have the pulling power of the other two Lego movies, and it all feels a little off...

Should I know what ninjago is? Seems a little too similar to the first 2 which is a shame as it'll get old very quickly.

It has not done the business at the US box office like the other two

I do hope this is the end of these Lego movies. The shine is starting to wear off.

No chance. They're a big draw for kids.

Are they though? This one only made $35m domestically. With $58m so far worldwide. boxofficemojo doesn't state how much the budget was, but a search on Google has said $70m. It might rise, but I can't imagine them making back much more than the budget.

Fair point. Looks like the Lego movies don't do well in China either.

They might be a big draw for kids, but it's the parents that buy the tickets & if the films' collective quality dips, there's less chance parents will want / bother taking their little cherubs. There's a good reason the best / most successful kids films tend to have an equally strong adult audience. ..

That's an interesting one. I wonder why. What about the Lego movies wouldn't sell there?

Feckin' Chinese. It's 'cause of them that we'll likely get another Terminator movie after the awful Genysis :pac:

Because of the Lepin company. The do really well with their Star Wnrs movies.
