No need for insurance and alike if you use a horse and cart on the M50.

it was 25k for insurance for killalane but a 100% increase on before

the 50k number I believe was for both fingal events

it's sad but I can't see what the answer is in the future

last I heard it was not running but now what seems to be happening is there is a walk around the circuit as a fund raiser. No idea if that means it could still be going on

Was at kells last year when it was cancelled due to weather, I was pretty disgusted at the people looking for their €12 back. Its a small club putting this event on and they don't really profit from it.

Its a shame if smaller race meetings continue to die out because of insurance hikes and other red tape. We're one of the only places on Earth where races like this still take place and I think more people should give the pub a miss on a Saturday in June or July and go attend one.

You never know, you might like it!

Insurance will be the death of anything that is deemed out of the ordinary. Stephen Davidson was tweeting that Mid-Antrim is cancelled too.
I could never understand complaining about the price of programmes. Very few places these days where you can get a days entertainment for €12. Especially being allowed to view so close to the action.

We had year after year of racing on our roads here and personally I'm glad road races are not permitted here any more.

Kells , Killalane and The Bush, the mid Antrim are all cancelled. Just asked the OH who races, he said it would be easier to name the ones that are still on. Not a happy chap :(

yea we've seen it for years people walking miles out of their way to avoid paying for a day's racing where would you get a full day's entertainment for 12 euro, what a pity it looks like our days are numbered----well at least 'Sremeen 'is happy, Where you from 'Dundalk'?
