4Music TV Channel now Free-To-Air on satellite

    4Music - part of The Box Plus Network, a joint venture between Channel 4 and Bauer Media, has since its launch been encrypted on satellite. The channel which has NOT been listed on the Sky Ireland epg. 4Music may currently be manually tuned on a generic FTA satellite box and/or stored in the "Other Channels" menu on a Sky Digibox if the channel's signal remains unscrambled.

    Manual tuning parameters
    Satellite: Astra 2E (28.2E) - UK spotbeam
    Frequency: 10.714
    Polarisation: H (Horizontal)
    Symbol Rate: 22.000
    FEC: 5/6
    Mode: DVB-S/QPSK

    Note: Those who already have a UK FTV Card (Freesat from Sky) would have previously had access to 4Music as the channel is found on 362 on the Sky UK EPG
