Is it correct that you can be called on Jobpath even though you work part-time (3 days a week).

Yes it is. People on Jobseekers are looking for and available for"full time" work.

You should contact them and let them know you are working part time. They are most likely unaware of that fact. You cannot be forced to give up your part time job or forced into appointments which clash with your working hours. Just contact them and make it clear asap.

Thanks for the replies. Would they not expect that you should give up your part time job if they were able to get you a full time one.

If they get you an interview for a full time job you can specify that it has to be on one of your days off.
If you get the job then, yes, you'd be expected to take it.

does a 30 hr a week job count as full time? if i go full time i loose my rent allowance.

Yellowfrog, 30 hours a week is considered full-time for Rent Supplement. Have a read here, scroll down to 'Employment and Rent Supplement'
    http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/social_welfare/social_welfare_payments/supplementary_welfare_schemes/rent_supplement.html

Contact your Local Authority and enquire about your situation. They will advise you on your options.

There is nothing they can do to force you to leave your current job. Stick to your guns on this and don't let them try and con you into doing anything hasty.
