New attic conversaion - rads not working

A friend recently got a new attic conversion (2 separate rooms with rad in each)

Heating issues ever since the build, particularly with the attic rads. She was recommended to swap out the boiler which she did. Now more issues than before. 2 attic rads not working and 2 other rads (out of approx 14 in total). Boiler fitter not returning calls. I would assume that the system was flushed prior to the installation but I cannot guarantee this.

In terms of the attic conversion, I've read that it is common enough to run into issues with this addition as rads are higher than expansion tank (located in the hotpress on 1st floor). Suggestions ?

If it was my place, as a first port of call, I would close off all rads and re-balance the entire system. What would the pros do (in particular relation the the attic rads) ?

The position of the expansion vessel should have no bearing on the rads heating. Are there controls on the system zone valves and the like, it could be a fault on MV closing down a zone or it could be a weak or failing pump, Air not fully purged from the system, undersized pipework feeding the rads, or possibly just in need of balancing. Start with the simple stuff first make sure the system has enough pressure about 1 t0 1.5 bar, fully purged of air, and then balance.

No, it's not a zone specific shutdown. Pressure check when I'm there at the weekend and full rebalance. Cheers dpo :)
