    Want to give my granny my old iPhone 4 is there any way of putting the old apps like Facebook and instagram and that on it?

    It kinda depends on what IOS is on the 4.
    If it has ios8 on it facebook should install OK

    Go to itunes and look for the apps you want her to have. like

    Look for "Compatibility"
    It probably says requires iOS 8.0 or later

    I don't know if there's much difference between a 4 and a 4s. However, I was using my iphone4s until last month when I bought a new iPhone. It has Facebook, Instagram etc. on it so I don't see why not.

    I'm still using it just for listening to audiobooks or Spotify on when I'm out walking or shoving in my old DAB radio player in the house.
