    Lots of big shopping centres in Barcelona. Diagonal Mar to the north, near the beach has a Primark. Maremagnum near the port is nice but more restaurants than shops IIRC.

    Avoid buying the cheap crap football jerseys along Las Ramblas. I'd also avoid buying the real ones at the Nou Camp which are extortionately priced.

    Lefties for girls clothes!
    Desigual also, but it's on the expensive side.
    There is an outlet mall but we found it useless!

    I'm only back from another trip to Barca myself it's bloody freezing over there at the moment, so wrap up! It's sunny at least... :)

    Shops are very similar to here, get a football kit from Barca shop for the lad, plenty of shops and a lot of them are same, not sure if there is anything like Primark though....

    Definitely two Primark stores in Barca, at opposite ends of the Diagonal by the looks of it.

    Primark & Decathlon in L'Illa SC. Decathlon is great for sports gear.

    Other end of the Diagonal is this one;
