just want to get an idea,,,my attic was converted about 20 years its a hip roof the inside has t-g sheeting, now i think that i need to replace the old insulation so can i use liguid foam as some times used in cavity walls it would have to be done from the outside and it would have to do a good of sealing out the wind so there .any ball park figure ?

How are you going to get out the old insulation (or is there any).

The spray could be done from the inside (easier than the roof probably). But noggins or bridges might be a concern.
